Mont Blanc, Echo

Waxed finish leathers have a top layer of wax applied to give the leather an aged rugged look. All natural markings are evident in these leathers. Like a pair of your favorite boots, these leathers will age gracefully over the years.

Dust Periodically

Dust is a drying agent for leather.

Limit Direct Sunlight

Exposure to extended periods of sunlight can fade and discolor the leather.

Contain The Stain

For spills, contain as quickly as possible. For stubborn stains, clean using the Moore & Giles leather cleaner.

Maintain

Conditioner is recommended every 6 – 12 months.

NORMAL CARE

Under normal usage conditions regular dusting is all that is necessary to clean your chair. The use of our specially formulated Leather Conditioner is recommended every 6 – 12 months.

FOR MINOR SPOTS AND SPILLS

Wipe any excess liquid up immediately with a clean absorbent cloth or sponge. If necessary, use a lightly moistened soft cloth or sponge with clean lukewarm water and let air-dry naturally. Do not dry with hair dryers, etc.

FOR STUBBORN STAINS

Moisten a soft cloth or sponge with a mid non-detergent soap and lukewarm water. Apply gently to all soiled portions of the leather surface. Remove soap lather by wiping with a clean damp cloth. Blot dry with another soft cloth, then let air-dry naturally. Do not use hair dryers, etc. If the stain persists it is recommended to use our recommended Leather Cleaner, specially formulated for our Natural Leather, followed by our recommended Leather Conditioner. Alternatively, we recommend hiring a professional leather specialist to clean the chair and avoid any potential damage to the leather.

FOR BUTTER, OIL OR GREASE

Wipe excess butter, oil or grease off the leather with a clean dry cloth, then leave it alone as the spot should dissipate into the leather after a short period of time. Do not apply water or try to wash a butter, oil or grease spot.

DO NOT USE

Saddle soap, cleaning solvents, furniture polish, oils, varnish, abrasive cleaners, detergent soaps, ammonia water or any non recommended leather cleaners or conditioners.

Note: These are recommended or suggested methods of cleaning. Always try any cleaning method in a hidden area to convince yourself of the results. LIFEFORM® is not responsible for damage incurred while cleaning. Like any upholstery material, all leathers can fade to some degree if exposed to the sun or direct light. Protect your furniture from the sun and direct light.
